Why buy things you don't need?
Surprisingly, it's not completely your fault! You buy because it makes you feel good.
They make you buy through branding and repetition of their logos, jingles, etc. on TV, billboard, advertisements on the Internet
under consumerism: "happiness is based on the amount of materials possessed"
